Delhi Public School Bhilai

Delhi Public School Bhilai is one of the satellite schools in the chain of schools run by The Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi, a non-profit making organisation, dedicated to the cause of quality education in India and abroad.

The co-educational school was established in Bhilai on 20th August, 1985, in collaboration with the public sector undertaking, Bhilai Steel Plant (SAIL), which provided the land (16 Acres) and assistance in various other matters at its inception. Since then, the DPS Society New Delhi and B.S.P. management have been a constant source of guidance and encouragement to the school, from time to time.

With 204 students on its rolls in classes VI-IX at the outset, the Delhi Public School Bhilai has come a long way with a present strength of 5184 in classes Nursery to XII and 195 teachers. Delhi Public School Bhilai is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
